KATHMANDU: Meat Park - NON-VEG HEAVEN, a restaurant, has recently opened in Kuleshwar, Kathmandu. The restaurant established with an investment of Rs 15 million, has employed 25 people.
The official opening of the restaurant took place on Saturday, March 16 and was attended by comedians Surveer Pandit, also known as Dahri Ba, and Ramchandra Adhikari, known as Gokte Kazi, from the popular comedy television series ‘Meri Bassai’.
The restaurant has been established with investment from Kiran Gautam, Prakash Sapkota and Dil Krishna Sahi.
Throughout March, the Meat Park is offering 10% discount on dishes from its menu. According to the owner, customers who purchase two bottles of beer will receive an additional bottle and a complimentary set of 'sekuwa', a special dish of the restaurant prepared by cooking meat over a wood fire. The restaurant also offers a variety of non-vegetarian items.
The restaurant has three separate cabins and can accommodate up to 150 people at a time.
“Kuleshwor is a VIP area, but there haven’t been any restaurants like ours in the area until now. Our restaurant provides a spacious and open environment for visitors looking to enjoy their leisure time. We can also host small celebrations, parties, and anniversaries. Additionally, there is a parking space in front of the restaurant that can accommodate 20 motorcycles at a time,” said Gautam, one of the owners.
