KATHMANDU: The Common Minimum Policy Priorities and Resolve of the ruling alliance were made public on Tuesday.
The document was unveiled at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar, with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and the top leaders of the parties in the ruling alliance present.
The Resolve, which prioritises the supreme interests of Nepali people, aims to instil hope and faith by dispelling the sense of despondency among the people. The ruling alliance consists of the CPN (UML), CPN (Maoist Centre), Rastriya Swatantra Party, Janata Samajbadi Party, and CPN (Unified Socialist).
The Resolve outlines programmes to stimulate the share market through policy reforms, mobilise climate financing, implement the 16th periodic plan by conducting an objective assessment of the 15th periodic plan, rectify anomalies in financial institutions, and address the issues of cooperatives and microfinance.
