KATHMANDU: The "Saksham Nari 4.0" campaign, run by the DV Education Group to empower and uplift women, concluded on Saturday. The campaign, which began on March 26th, was a successful and enthusiastic event, according to the organization.
The campaign was designed to support women from various backgrounds by helping them develop their skills and knowledge. Various partner organizations joined "Skilled Women 4.0," including Sungabha Nepal, Saathi Organization, ABC Nepal, GET Organization, La Dhoka Nari Ghar, Opportunity Village Nepal, Fun Play Learn Organization, and Unnati Foundation. The campaign is said to have provided opportunities for women's professional development and growth.
As part of the campaign, DV Education's Shubhashree College of Management, in partnership with Vivanta Kathmandu, organized a workshop on pastry and bakery. There was also a training session on makeup and personal grooming. The Beauty Bar & Academy is reported to have empowered women in self-confidence and business skills.
On the same occasion, Triton Secondary School and College, in collaboration with the National Cancer Hospital and Research Center, provided training in first aid. Triton Secondary School also offered Montessori training, emphasizing the importance of early childhood education and nurturing future generations. Additionally, Shepherd College of Media Technology, in partnership with the Dhulikhel Municipality, conducted a workshop for women on digital literacy and entrepreneurial empowerment.
The closing ceremony of the campaign featured a panel discussion with prominent figures. The discussion included Santosh Pandey, CEO of Oho Cake; Renukah Manandhar, Managing Director of Sungabha Nepal; Nida Doon-Malla, Consultant for NDM Corporate Solutions; and Usha Khadgi, Miss Nepal 2000.
Taranpratap Shah, Managing Director of the DV Group, stated that the program was conducted as part of the organization's corporate social responsibility efforts in the area of economic empowerment for Nepali women.
