MOU between Khwopa College and Idea Studio Nepal

BHAKTAPUR: Khwopa College and Idea Studio Nepal signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on April 3, 2024, at Khwopa College, Bhaktapur.  Prakash Kumar Shrestha, Principal of Khwopa College, and Dr. Tshering Lama, Executive Chairperson of Idea Studio Nepal (ISN) signed the agreement at Khwopa College, Bhaktapur. This partnership commenced to promote the entrepreneurial education and mindset of the faculties and students of Khwopa College. This collaboration is geared towards nurturing an environment of creativity and empowering budding entrepreneurs with 21st-century skills and support to thrive in their ventures. 

Khwopa College, named after the historic town of Bhaktapur, is the sole community-based service-oriented college in the area, governed by Bhaktapur Municipality since its establishment in 1999 AD. The college is dedicated to providing quality and practical education at an affordable rate, addressing the rising cost of education in the country. With a mission focused on serving the people and promoting professionalism, Khwopa College has opened its doors to students from all 65 districts. Despite its cultural roots in Bhaktapur, the institution actively strives to fulfill its commitment to accessible education. The college offers well-equipped facilities, including libraries, laboratories, classrooms, and extracurricular activities, ensuring a conducive academic environment. Its diverse faculty, featuring visiting professors, medalists, professionals, and academicians, has contributed to making Khwopa College a model institution in the academic field, as reflected in its impressive result percentage.

Idea Studio Nepal (ISN) is a dividend-not-distributing company registered at the Company Registrar Office, under the Company Act 2063 of Nepal. Idea Studio Nepal (ISN) provides encouragement, resources, space, exposure, learning, and networking, and facilitates investment opportunities for socially conscious business ideas. It enables potential entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas addressing social-economic environmental issues faced by local communities across the country. Our focus and approach has always been in enabling higher education institutions to establish business incubation centers to address the contexting need of the societies by enabling Nepal’s aspiring entrepreneurs. Business today should be knowledge-based, contextualized, and globally relevant”.
