KATHMANDU: Nepal Association for Software and IT Services Companies (NAS-IT) hosted an event titled 'Navigating Growth: Strategies for Startup Ecosystems and Asia Pacific Expansion' in an effort to strengthen Nepal's standing as a global tech powerhouse. The panellists, hailing from various countries, brought a wealth of expertise and diverse perspectives to the table.
The esteemed panel included Fulvio Inserra (CEO & MD, The Mastermind Group, Australia), Prof CK Farn (Professor, National Central University, Chinese Taipei), Ruwan Amarasekara (Consultant, Digital Technology Transformation, Sri Lanka), and Stan Singh (Founder/Principal Consultant, IronHorse Asia Sdn Bhd, Malaysia).

NAS-IT had the honour of hosting the prestigious APICTA Exco Meeting, marking the first time this gathering has taken place in Nepal.
The meeting held at the ALOFT Kathmandu Thamel, welcomed tech luminaries from an impressive array of 16 countries across the Asia Pacific region. The Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) is a leading regional organisation dedicated to driving technological innovation and collaboration among member economies. NAS-IT's crucial membership in APICTA places Nepal prominently on the global tech stage, facilitating the development of international partnerships and markets for Nepali tech enterprises.
The event was a resounding success, with the panel discussion, skilfully moderated by Bibhusan Bista, Executive President of Young Innovations, delving into critical topics aimed at empowering attendees. Discussions centred around building vibrant startup ecosystems, overcoming challenges faced by expanding startups, devising successful growth strategies, drawing inspiration from the successes of regional startups, identifying emerging sectors and tech trends, and catalysing innovation through strategic partnerships.
