Former NCC President Shrestha elected as Chair of Advisory Council

KATHMANDU: Rajesh Kazi Shrestha has been elected as the Chairperson of the Advisory Council of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC).

Shrestha, who is also a former president of the NCC, has been chosen to lead the Advisory Council. The council is tasked with making recommendations for the institutional development of the NCC and the capacity building of businesspersons. 
Other leaders of the Chamber campaign, including Mahesh Kumar Agrawal, Surendra Bir Malakar, and Suresh Kumar Basnet, have also been elected as members of the council.

The advisory council will work to strengthen the coordination between the government and the private sector, expand international relations, and promote the interests and roles of entrepreneurs and businesses, according to a statement issued by the NCC. Former President Shrestha has been an active participant in the chamber campaign for three decades.
