Vietnam's non-resident ambassador calls on Vice President

KATHMANDU: Non-resident Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Nguyen Thanh Hai, paid a courtesy visit to Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav on Monday.

During the meeting, which took place at the Office of the Vice President in Haritgriha, Lainchaur, they discussed matters relating to bilateral relations, investment opportunities, and the tourism industry.

On this occasion, the Vice President stated that Vietnam's participation in the Nepal Investment Summit (April 28-29), held in Kathmandu, would help attract investment from Vietnam, as per the Office of the Vice President.

The ambassador pledged to make every effort to further strengthen bilateral ties in the future. He also mentioned that efforts are underway to establish a direct air connection between Nepal and Vietnam.
