NOC cuts diesel and kerosene prices

KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the price of diesel and kerosene by two rupees per litre, effective from Wednesday.

The state-owned enterprise, which imports, stores and distributes petroleum products, has set the price of diesel/kerosene at Rs 156.50 per litre for the first category of location, Rs 158 per litre for the second category, and Rs 159 per litre for the third category.

However, the NOC has increased the price of domestic aviation turbine fuel (ATF) by Rs 1 per litre and international ATF by $7 per kilolitre. As a result, the price of domestic ATF has reached Rs 137 per litre, and the price of international ATF is now $1.042 per litre.

The prices of petrol and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) remain unchanged, according to NOC spokesperson Manoj Thakur.
