On the occasion, the Prime Minister stated that a special programme will be introduced to boost production and create job opportunities through the policies and programmes, and budget for the upcoming fiscal year.

PM Dahal shared that the government would focus on the quality and sustainability aspects of the country's road network, with attention being paid to reforming infrastructure, vehicles, and traffic systems to improve transport services and reduce road accidents.

He underscored the need to foster a positive narrative that the country itself can execute projects appropriately based on evidence-based study and analysis.

The Prime Minister asserted that Nepal has made significant strides in infrastructure, education, health, communications, drinking water, electrification, social security, and service delivery.

It's worth noting that the Department of Roads is currently constructing over 149 bridges in various parts of the country. "The tunnel way of the Nagdhunga road section has seen a breakthrough," PM Dahal shared, adding that several other developments taking place in game-changing projects would contribute to Nepal's transition to a developing country by 2026.
