President to present government's policies and programmes for FY 2024/25 today

KATHMANDU: President Ramchandra Paudel is set to present the government's policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year 2024/25 in a joint session of the federal parliament later this afternoon.

The parliament secretariat has completed preparations for the meeting scheduled to commence at 3:00 pm.

In connection with this, Speaker Devraj Ghimire is set to consult with the chief whips and whips of the major political parties at noon, followed by a work advisory committee meeting at 1:00 pm.

The parliament secretariat has confirmed that all necessary preparations, including security arrangements, have been made.

The schedule for today's joint meeting of the federal parliaments has already been announced, following the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.
