Govt's policies and programmes passed from NA meet

KATHMANDU: The government's policies and programmes document for the forthcoming fiscal year 2024/25 was approved on Sunday by a majority vote in the National Assembly (NA). 

The proposal, put forward by National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal, received majority approval.

Previously, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal had presented the proposal at the NA meeting, requesting discussions on the policies and programmes document.

In the meantime, NA Member Anjan Shakya was appointed as a member of the Development, Economic Affairs and Good-Governance Committee, as announced by NA Chairman Dahal during the NA meeting.
