National pride, strategically important projects to be continued in upcoming FY

KAILALI: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Damodar Bhandari, has stated that projects of the current fiscal year, particularly those of national pride and strategic importance, will be continued in the upcoming fiscal year as well.

At a press meet organised by Press Chautari Nepal in Kailali today, Minister Bhandari stated that the government’s main priority is to ensure the continuity of the projects of national pride and those related to infrastructure development of strategic importance.

The Industry Minister expressed confidence that both domestic and foreign investment will rise if the government continues to eliminate policy-level barriers.

He noted that the government has implemented a policy to encourage entrepreneurship among the youth in the industrial, IT, commerce, and supply sectors to stem the growing trend of human capital flight.
