Gold price goes up by Rs 2,300 per tola, traded at Rs 140,500

KATHMANDU: The price of the yellow metal has increased in the local market today. The price of gold has risen by Rs 2,300 per tola (11.66 grams) today compared to Wednesday.

Fine gold is currently trading at Rs 140,500 per tola, an increase from Rs 138,200 yesterday. Similarly, the price of Tejabi gold has been set at Rs 139,800 per tola, up from Rs 137,550 on Wednesday, marking an increase of Rs 2,250 today.

Likewise, the price of silver has increased by Rs 70 per tola and is now set at Rs 2,000, up from Rs 1,930 on Wednesday, according to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA).
