KATHMANDU: Khukri Rum, a legacy brand from Nepal, has partnered with the Global Ambassador for Rum category, Ian Burrell, to organise an exclusive event in Nepal for the first time. Burrell, an award-winning 'EduTainer', has over three decades of experience in the rum industry, conducting masterclasses, seminars, and judging competitions around the world.
The event, scheduled for June 3-4, 2024, will highlight Nepal's rum-making heritage and demonstrate Khukri’s craftsmanship to the Global Ambassador for rum. Attendees will be treated to immersive experiences such as rum tasting and a masterclass with Ian Burrell. He will share his rum expertise through workshops, offering insights into mixology, rum production, and industry trends. This event offers a unique opportunity for Nepali rum enthusiasts and bartenders to learn, enhance their skills, and network with fellow rum aficionados.
