DUMRE: Vice Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and federal lawmaker Swarnim Wagle emphasised that job creation at local levels is a primary requirement to stem the outflow of youth.
During a press conference held in Damauli on Saturday, MP Wagle proposed that governments should offer self-entrepreneurship and skill-oriented training to facilitate job creation.
He announced that road expansion works will be accelerated to mitigate the challenges people are facing as the rainy season is nearing.
However, Wagle observed that the highway expansion was advancing swiftly in the eastern belt, while it was slower in the western belt.
He affirmed that the government had allocated an ample budget for the Tanahun district for the forthcoming fiscal year.
According to him, effective disaster management is a pressing issue at present, and collaboration from all sides is crucial, Wagle stressed.
He committed to initiatives for compensation to the people for the damages caused by fires and storms.
Meanwhile, the federal lawmaker visited the victims of fire incidents and a storm in the Tanahun district.
