Gold price soars to record high in domestic market

KATHMANDU: Gold price has hit an all-time high in the domestic market today. The precious yellow metal is currently trading at Rs 144,000 per tola (11.66 grams), marking an increase of Rs 1,800 per tola from yesterday.

According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA), the gold was traded at Rs 142,200 per tola on Wednesday.

Similarly, FENEGOSIDA has set the price of Tejabi gold at Rs 143,300 today, up from Rs 141,500 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, silver is trading at Rs 1,850 per tola today, with an increase from Rs 1,825 yesterday.
