KATHMANDU: The Summit Events and Markets is preparing to organise 'Nepal International Tourism Expo (NITE)' in Kathmandu, commencing this Friday.
The two-day event aims to cultivate authentic international networking opportunities in a tangible setting, offering attendees a platform to establish significant relationships and stimulate business expansion by engaging with potential customers.
This event is expected to provide participants with a platform to connect and expedite their business by reaching potential customers, as well as reinforcing existing business relationships and nurturing new ones. The NITE will unite global industry professionals, airlines, hotels, tour operators, and travel agencies. The event will act as the premier B2B and B2C tourism platform for promoting tourism products worldwide.
The NITE will see the involvement of tourism entrepreneurs from a diverse group of 16 countries.
Bishnu Pandey, the owner of Summit Event and Market, has announced that the fair will exhibit over 150 stalls from business representatives spanning these 16 countries. "We are optimistic that the fair will play a significant role in the sustainable development of tourism and encourage cultural exchange within our country," he expressed.
The participating countries in the fair comprise Nepal, India, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Maldives, the USA, the Netherlands, Sri Lanka, China, Thailand, Dubai, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Bhutan. Furthermore, the fair will also feature stalls representing all seven provinces of Nepal.
The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) are providing their support to the fair, which is set to take place at Bhrikutimandap.
