Summit Events and Markets is preparing to organise the tourism expo in Bhrikutimandap exhibition hall on 14-15 June.

The two-day expo to be held in cooperation with Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and various associations aims to promote Nepal's tourism in the global market.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Soaltee Hotel and Summit Events and Markets on Monday at Soaltee Hotel regarding the hospitality partner for the mega event. Present at the MoU signing ceremony were Stream Peak International's Sales and Marketing Director Harish Bhatta; Corporate Director Ashwini Acharya (Sales and Marketing) and Associate Director (Sales) Nawaraj Nepal; and Summit Events and Markets Fair Director Sujan Oli.

The two-day event aims to cultivate authentic international networking opportunities in a tangible setting, offering attendees a platform to establish significant relationships and stimulate business expansion by engaging with potential customers.

After the MoU signing, Soaltee Hotel Vice President Chapagain mentioned that he would cooperate as a hospitality partner in NITE, which is going to be organised for the first time in Nepal, and expressed his belief that this expo can be a milestone in the field of tourism promotion in Nepal. On behalf of Soaltee Hotel, he expressed his pleasure to be a hospitality partner in the event. He expressed his hope that this cooperation would help in promoting Nepal's tourism.

Likewise, Summit Events and Markets Managing Director Pandey said that the expo aims to be a major programme by highlighting Nepal's rich natural and cultural heritage and promoting meaningful relationships and cooperation within the global tourism community. He said the company is making efforts in all respects to make the expo a complete success. He expressed his pleasure to have Soaltee Hotel, which has a distinct identity in the field of hospitality, as a partner. "We are confident that this will help in promoting Nepal's tourism," Pandey said.

At the tourism expo, tourism-related businesses including hotels, resorts, homestays, and agencies related to travel, tour, trekking, mountaineering, and airlines, as well as interested individuals and organisations from within the country and abroad will participate.

The NITE will see the involvement of tourism entrepreneurs from a diverse group from 16 countries, around 250 buyers, and 1,000 visitors, according to Summit Events and Markets Director Shishir Khanal. He expressed his belief that the expo would expand the network and business.

Likewise, agreements have been reached with several other organisations according to which Swift Holidays will be a transport partner, HAMS Hospital as a health partner, and Khalti as a digital payment partner in the tourism expo. Similarly, Landmark Hotels and Resorts, another large hotel and resort chain in Nepal, has also collaborated for the event recently.

NITE 2024 is expected to provide participants with a platform to connect and expedite their business by reaching potential customers, as well as reinforcing existing business relationships and nurturing new ones. The NITE will unite global industry professionals, airlines, hotels, tour operators, and travel agencies. The event will act as the premier B2B (business-to-business) and B2C (business-to-consumer) tourism platform for promoting tourism products worldwide.
