SIMKOT: The Industry and Consumers' Welfare Office, Humla district, has decided to organise a two-day industrial exhibition at the district headquarters, Simikot.
Office chief Pradip Regmi informed that the exhibition will take place on June 25-26 to promote and publicise locally produced goods.
A range of local products, from food items to clothing and rugs, will be displayed at the exhibition.
Regmi further informed that the event would serve as an effective medium to publicise indigenous skills and products.
The fair will also feature a competitive show where the winner will receive a cash prize of Rs 30,000, the first runner-up Rs 20,000, and the second runner-up Rs 10,000.
The event is expected to create a market for indigenous products and contribute to invigorating the economy.
