KATHMANDU: Classic Wheels Export and Import, a pioneering force in Nepal's automotive industry with over a decade of unwavering commitment, hosted an event to unveil new projects and celebrate milestones for their brand, Garow Electric, at Varnabas Museum Hotel in Gairidhara, Kathmandu, on Friday.

The highlight of the occasion was the introduction of the Garow DT-60, an electric scooter with an impressive range of 350 kilometres (km).

Three influencers took centre stage, showcasing the remarkable performance of the Garow DT-60. Bishesh Regmi Khatri rode the Garow DT-60 from Kathmandu to Chitwan on a single charge, dispelling any scepticism about the scooter's range. His journey demonstrated the efficiency and capacity of the electric scooter to his supporters and social media followers.

Similarly, Ram Bikram Thapa and Neshang Shrestha embarked on a ride from Kathmandu to Dharan. They rode two Garow DT-60 scooters, challenging each other to genuinely test the EV's range. The duo rode the electric two-wheelers in eco mode, staying overnight in Udayapur before continuing the journey the next day without recharging the vehicle. Thapa covered 358km, while Shrestha covered an impressive 367km to Dharan. The return trip from Dharan was equally successful as they switched to Driving and Sports modes, significantly reducing their travel time back to Kathmandu.

Ananyas Chandra Gurung, Marketing Head of Classic Wheels Import and Export, discussed the company's upcoming services focused on sustainable, high-performance transportation, with accessible service centres across the country.

Gurung also introduced the upcoming Influencer Challenge, allowing influencers to create content highlighting the Garow DT-60, with prizes awarded for creativity, reach, and engagement.

Additionally, Gurung announced the Garow Gymkhana, another upcoming competitive open event featuring obstacle course challenges for auto enthusiasts.

The meet-up event concluded with a banquet and networking opportunities for attendees.
