Gold price drops by Rs 2,700; traded at Rs 142,000
KATHMANDU: The price of gold and silver has decreased in the domestic market today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has dropped by Rs 2,700 per tola (11.66 grams) on Sunday. On Friday, gold was traded at Rs 144,700 per tola.
Currently, fine gold is being traded at Rs 142,000 per tola.
Similarly, Tejabi gold, which was sold at Rs 144,000 per tola on Friday, is now being traded at Rs 141,300 per tola.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has also declined by Rs 50 per tola. Silver is currently being traded at Rs 1,815 per tola, compared to Rs 1,865 per tola on Friday.
