NMB Bank marks World MSME Day 2024; honours MSME clients
KATHMANDU: NMB Bank marked the World Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Day 2024 with a series of events held across all seven provinces on June 27. The purpose of these events was to honour and support its MSME clients. With enthusiastic participation from over 800 attendees, the event served as a platform to recognise the invaluable partnership between the bank and its MSME clientele.
The highlight of the celebration was the heartfelt appreciation extended to MSME clients for their pivotal role in the economic landscape. In addition to the festivities, NMB Bank organised informative sessions focused on digital payments, finance, and marketing strategies tailored to the needs of MSMEs. These sessions aimed to empower entrepreneurs with essential knowledge and tools to thrive in today's competitive business environment. The event facilitated valuable connections among MSME partners, allowing them to share success stories and promote their businesses. Additionally, it provided practical suggestions to help customers address various challenges faced in their businesses.
NMB Bank, which prioritises MSMEs and other primary sectors, has been celebrating MSME Day for the past three years. This initiative encourages customers to support each other and enhance their business capabilities, thereby strengthening their positions in the competitive market.
'The Banker Magazine' of The Financial Times, London, has awarded NMB Bank the prestigious Bank of the Year Asia 2021. The bank also received the Bank of the Year award in 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2021.
Currently, NMB Bank provides services through 201 branches, 188 ATMs, and 11 extension counters.
