KATHMANDU: Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs Forum (NYEF) Kathmandu successfully concluded its sixth annual general meeting (AGM) at Hotel Yak and Yeti in Kathmandu, on Friday.
Abhimanyu Golchha was elected as the new president of NYEF Kathmandu during the AGM, which also witnessed the election of other members to the new executive committee.
Prarthana Saakha's tenure as President of NYEF Kathmandu concluded. Under her leadership, NYEF Kathmandu organised numerous events to promote youth and women entrepreneurship. Highlights of her tenure included the NYEF Startup Award, a felicitation event for women entrepreneurs, the NYEF Junior Entrepreneurship Programme, and various networking events.
NYEF Kathmandu expressed heartfelt gratitude to Saakha for her exceptional leadership and dedication, which significantly contributed to the organisation's growth.
Golchha, the newly elected president, serves as the Executive Director of Golchha Group. His extensive experience is expected to be an asset in his role as the organisation's president.
During the AGM, President Golchha committed to continuing the organisation's focus on improving the entrepreneurial landscape and providing a platform for young entrepreneurs to drive positive change.
The executive team joining Golchha includes Prarthana Saakha (Immediate Past President), Appa Sherpa (First Vice President), and Anubhav Shrestha (Second Vice President). Other executive members include Cheteze Tamang, Ichhya Malla, Nirdesh Dwa, Saurabh Shrestha, Vedika Murarka, Sandeep Sharma, Surakshya Adhikari, Santosh Pandey, and Nikhil Agrawal.
These passionate individuals bring diverse expertise to NYEF Kathmandu, further enhancing the organisation's ability to foster entrepreneurship and create opportunities for youth and women in Nepal.
The newly elected team is enthusiastic about continuing NYEF Kathmandu's mission to nurture entrepreneurial spirit and drive positive change in the local business ecosystem. They are committed to building on past achievements and leading the organisation to new heights.
