Salt price increased by Rs 3 per kilo

KATHMADU: Salt Trading Corporation Ltd has increased the price of iodised salt, Aayo Nun, by Rs 3 per kilogram (kg). The updated price took effect today, as stated in the corporation's press statement. 

With the increase in price, 1 kg packet of salt now costs Rs 26, up from the previous price of Rs 23. Similarly, the price of New Shakti salt has increased to Rs 20 per kg from the previous Rs 17. Additionally, Bhanu Nun is now priced at Rs 9 per kg.
