KATHMANDU: SPG Automobiles, the authorised distributor of OMODA vehicles in Nepal, held a grand launch event in Nepalgunj to officially introduce Omoda E5, their futuristic vehicle, to the local market.
The event also marked the inauguration of the OMODA official dealership in Karkando, Nepalgunj.
Over 100 media persons and guests were invited to witness the cutting-edge technology showcased at the event.
Distinguished guests at the event included Prashant Bista, Mayor of Nepalgunj Sub Metropolitan City; Tanka Dhami, Chairman of Nepalgunj Chamber of Commerce & Industry; Chinta Mani Neupane, Chairman of Siddhartha Business Group of Hospitality (SBGH), and representatives from SPG Automobiles and Siddhartha Tech. Among them were Vivek Kumar Shrestha, Managing Director of Siddhartha Tech; directors Keshav Neupane and Rishi Kadel; and Ashish Dahal, Senior Manager of SPG Automobiles.
The launch event also marked a significant milestone for Omoda as it expanded its dealer network, providing a one-stop solution for customers in the area.

Siddhartha Tech, the authorised distributor from SPG Automobiles, has been operational in Nepalgunj since July 2024. The launch event, combined with the showroom inauguration, aimed to provide a unique and immersive experience, highlighting Omoda’s cutting-edge electric vehicle.
The Omoda E5, priced at Rs 6.19 million for the single-tone variant and Rs 6.24 million for the dual-tone variant (pre-budget prices), leads the EV market in Nepal. It boasts a range of 430 km, a ground clearance of 180 mm, and a motor power of 99 kW. The Omoda E5 is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate blade battery and a level 2.5 ADAS system for the Nepali market.
