Laxmi Intercontinental offers 0% interest on Hyundai KONA Electric purchase

KATHMANDU: Laxmi Intercontinental, the authorised distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, has introduced an enticing offer for the Hyundai KONA Electric vehicle. Under the 'Zero Emission, Zero Interest' campaign, customers can now purchase the KONA at a 0% interest rate.

Hyundai's commitment to promoting sustainability and a greener future is evident in this captivating offer tailored to EV enthusiasts. With an exceptional interest rate of 0% applicable for five years, customers can benefit from easy financing, streamlined documentation, and efficient processing. The down payment requirement is set at 50%, making eco-friendly mobility more accessible than ever.

The Hyundai KONA is powered by a 39.2 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery, providing a range of up to 305km on a single charge. Its electric motor delivers 134 hp power and 395 Nm of instant torque. Additionally, a 100 kW DC fast charger can charge the battery to 80% capacity in just 54 minutes.

Laxmi Intercontinental actively engages in various initiatives related to electric vehicles. Notably, the High Voltage Battery Check-up event organised by Hyundai Nepal attracted more than 500 vehicle owners. The results revealed that KONA Electric batteries, even after five years of operation, maintained over 98% State of Charge (SOC), demonstrating their efficiency and reliability.
