KATHMANDU: In celebration of its 10th year, Glocal Teen Hero Nepal is now accepting applications from dedicated, passionate, and innovative teenagers across Nepal. This prestigious award recognises exceptional individuals aged 13 to 19 who have demonstrated remarkable leadership, innovation, and commitment to social change.

Legacy of Glocal Teen Hero:

Glocal Teen Hero was initiated in 2015 to recognise outstanding teenagers in the Kathmandu Valley. By 2016, it expanded nationwide, providing a platform for all Nepali teenagers. The platform extended its reach to India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. It continues to grow, celebrating exceptional teenagers from around the world. These young change-makers contribute significantly to fields such as social work, entrepreneurship, innovation, and environmental conservation.

A Decade of Inspiration:

Over the past nine years, Glocal Teen Hero has spotlighted numerous inspiring stories. From pioneering environmental initiatives to launching innovative startups, advocating for social justice, promoting health awareness, and exploring astronomy, these teenagers have brought tangible changes to their communities and inspired their peers to dream big and take bold action.

The selection process for Glocal Teen Hero is thorough and transparent. It begins with an open call for applications, where teenagers nationwide can submit their profiles and describe their work.
