India's PM Modi congratulates new Prime Minister Oli

KATHMANDU: India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended warm congratulations to KP Sharma Oli on his appointment as the Prime Minister of Nepal. 

Modi expressed eagerness to collaborate closely, aiming to strengthen the enduring friendship between the two nations and enhance mutually beneficial cooperation.

"Congratulations @kpsharmaoli on your appointment as the Prime Minister of Nepal. Look forward to working closely to further strengthen the deep bonds of friendship between our two countries and to further expand our mutually beneficial cooperation for the progress and prosperity of our peoples.

Earlier today, President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, marking the official commencement of his term.
