KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene. Effective from 1:00 am on Tuesday, these adjustments will impact consumers across different clusters.
In the first cluster, which includes Charlali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj, the retail price of petrol now stands at Rs 168.5 per litre. Meanwhile, diesel and kerosene are priced at Rs 157.5 per litre in this cluster.
For the second cluster — comprising Surkhet and Dang — the price of petrol has risen to Rs 170 per litre, while diesel and kerosene are now available at Rs 159 per litre.
Consumers in the third cluster, which includes Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal depots, will pay Rs 171 per litre for petrol and Rs 160 per litre for diesel and kerosene.
A meeting of the NOC Board of Directors today decided to adjust prices of petroleum products, according to NOC Spokesperson Manoj Thakur.
These changes align with the revised price list from the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Nepal's supplier of petroleum products.
