KATHMANDU: Foodmandu, Nepal's premier and most popular food delivery company, has announced the third cohort of its Student Apprentice Programme.
This initiative aims to provide students with invaluable hands-on experience in marketing and entrepreneurship, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Having successfully conducted two previous student apprenticeship programmes, Foodmandu is now gearing up for the third edition, scheduled for August.
Inesha Bhattarai, Brand and Marketing Manager at Foodmandu, said, "We are excited to uphold our dedication to promoting young talent. By involving them in this project, we aim to provide the students with a platform to gain first-hand experience by inspiring creativity, driving innovation, and deepening their understanding of the business world.”
The Student Apprenticeship Programme spans one month, during which participants spend three days a week at the office. Students gain practical exposure to creative thinking, planning, budgeting, logistics, and customer interaction.
In previous iterations of this initiative, students learned the practical aspects of marketing under the guidance of the Foodmandu team. The apprentices strategically planned and executed projects to enhance Foodmandu's brand awareness and presence. They even engaged in interactive games and distributed 'bags of happiness' filled with merchandise.
For the upcoming batch of Student Apprenticeship, Foodmandu aims to cultivate a comprehensive understanding of marketing strategies among the apprentices. Real-world scenarios will be the focus, targeting new audiences and emphasising both marketing and entrepreneurship.
Passionate students are invited to join Foodmandu's third Student Apprentice Programme.
