Solo rider Ojha conquers 5,000km on Yamaha Aerox 155 from Kathmandu to Ladakh

KATHMANDU: Awashis Ojha, a daring solo rider, has achieved a remarkable feat by completing his journey from Kathmandu to Ladakh — the highest motorable passes in India — riding a Yamaha Aerox 155 scooter.

Over just 11 days, Ojha covered a distance of more than 5,000 kilometres. His expedition serves as a testament to his courage, unwavering determination, and passion for adventure. Along the way, he encountered diverse terrains and challenging weather conditions, allowing him to forge a deep connection with the awe-inspiring landscapes, making his experience profoundly enriching and transformative.

Throughout this journey, the Yamaha Aerox 155 proved to be an exceptional companion. Its advanced liquid-cooled engine consistently delivered power and efficiency, even in the high-altitude conditions of Ladakh. The scooter's agile handling and cutting-edge fuel injection (FI) technology enabled Ojha to navigate winding mountain roads with ease and stability. Moreover, the comfortable seat and ergonomic design ensured that he could endure long hours of riding without fatigue. The large under-seat storage was invaluable for carrying essential gear, while the advanced braking system provided the confidence and safety necessary to tackle steep descents and challenging terrains.
