The Westminster College to host PUBG tourney; offers scholarships to winners, participants

KATHMANDU: The Westminster College in Kupondole is set to host a PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) tournament from July 28 to 30, 2024. 

As part of their ongoing initiative to promote e-sports among college students in Nepal, the college is inviting participants who have recently completed their Grade 12, A-Level, or CBSE exams this year. 

Interested students can register for the tournament by filling out a personal form available on the college’s social media platforms, and the registration process is free of cost. 

The three-day tournament will kick off with an orientation session on the first day, followed by intense gameplay rounds in subsequent days. The winners will receive a cash prize of Rs 80,000 from the prize pool. Moreover, the winners and participants will be eligible for attractive scholarships at Westminster College. 

The Westminster College, a subsidiary of the British Education Group, currently offers a four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Cyber Security & Forensics, in partnership with the University of Westminster, UK.
