KATHMANDU: Cimex Inc, the authorised distributor of BYD Auto Industry Co in Nepal, has inaugurated two new service centres in the Kathmandu Valley, marking a significant expansion of its service network to better serve its growing customer base.
Enhanced Service Centre in Gaurighat, Kathmandu:
Originally inaugurated in 2022, the central service centre in Gaurighat, Kathmandu, has undergone extensive renovations to align with the latest guidelines of BYD. This state-of-the-art workshop now spans an impressive 45,000 sq ft and features eight service bays, each equipped with specialised toolsets for electric vehicles (EVs). The workshop also boasts a substantial spare parts warehouse, ensuring an unmatched servicing experience. Additionally, dedicated stations for dent paint services and a comfortable lounge for customers have been introduced. The Gaurighat workshop is staffed by over 50 dedicated employees, all committed to providing superior service. The workshop was inaugurated by Sabin Tandukar, the early adopter of the BYD e6 (First Gen).
New Service Centre in Kupondole, Lalitpur:
Eco Drives Automobiles, the authorised distributor of BYD in Lalitpur, has inaugurated a new service centre in Kupondole. This facility covers 8,556 sq ft and includes six service bays, with two designated for urgent services and four equipped with specialised EV tools. The centre also features a washing bay and a dedicated warehouse for spare parts, ensuring efficient and comprehensive service for BYD customers in the region. The workshop was inaugurated by Anil Jalan, the first customer of Eco Drives, and Krishna Upreti, the early adopter of the BYD Dolphin.
Commitment to Superior Service:
Cimex remains steadfast in its commitment to providing “Superior & Sincere Service” to its customers. All BYD service employees have undergone rigorous training by representatives from BYD HQ and have received certifications to ensure that customers are in safe hands. In addition to the enhanced service centres, Cimex has introduced a Road Side Assistance (RSA) vehicle and a service hotline to provide emergency support whenever needed. BYD has service centres operational in Biratnagar, Birtamode, Janakpur, Birgunj, Chitwan, Gaurighat, Kupondole, Butwal, Nepalgunj, and Dang. Within the next three months, the BYD service network will be operational in Itahari, Pokhara, Swayambu, Bhaktapur, and Banepa.
