NOC slashes petrol, diesel and kerosene prices

KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products, effective from Thursday.

In a press release issued on Wednesday, the NOC stated that the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 1 per litre, and the prices of diesel and kerosene by Rs 2 per litre each. The price of aviation fuel remains unchanged.

Following the reduction, the price of petrol is now Rs 167.50 per litre, and diesel and kerosene are Rs 155.50 per litre in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amalekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj.

In Surkhet and Dang, petrol now costs Rs 169 per litre, while diesel and kerosene are Rs 157 per litre.

Similarly, in Pokhara, Kathmandu, and Dipayal, the price of petrol is Rs 170 per litre, and diesel and kerosene are Rs 158 per litre.
