Motihari-Bara-Amlekhgunj pipeline project nears completion

KATHMANDU: The second phase of Motihari-Bara-Amlekhgunj Petroleum Pipeline Project is nearing completion.

The project, part of Nepal-India cooperation, is 90% finished, according to the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC).

Binitmani Upadhyay, Chief of the Madhes Province Office of the NOC, stated that the remaining tasks will be completed within two months. He noted that two tanks with a capacity of 4,001 kilolitres have been prepared, and the pipeline laying is in its final phase.

The Government of Nepal has invested Rs 2.14 billion from the Indian government for the project.
