At 5th general assembly of Pokhara CC, Minister Bhattarai highlights govt’s focus on good governance

KASKI: Minister for Education, Science and Technology Bidhya Bhattarai stated that the current government has been formed to ensure good governance and achieve prosperity in the country.

Speaking at the inauguration of the fifth general assembly and third convention of Pokhara Chamber of Commerce, Kaski on Saturday, Minister Bhattarai highlighted that the two major political parties united to form the current government to instil hope among citizens.

She stressed the importance of an education system that provides employment opportunities within the country, urging collective efforts to reduce the exodus of the youth population to foreign countries.

Minister Bhattarai also mentioned ongoing efforts to commence flights from Pokhara International Airport, which she believes will significantly boost tourism development in Pokhara.

House of Representatives member Damodar Bairagi, also present at the event, urged industrialists to focus on productive areas while safeguarding their institutional rights and welfare.
