Lions International honours NCC IPP Malla with Corporate Social Award

KATHMANDU: Lions Clubs International honoured Immediate Past President of Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) and President of Non-Life Insurance Business Association, Rajendra Malla, with the Corporate Social Award.

Lions International recognised Malla for his significant contributions to the social sector as a professional leader. The award was jointly presented by Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) President Chandra Prasad Dhakal and officials from Lions International.

Malla has been actively involved in various social campaigns alongside his corporate responsibilities. Upon receiving the award, he expressed his inspiration to further his work in the social sector. He emphasised the need for organisations like Lions to take effective steps against climate change.

"Climate change is also affecting Nepal. The reach of organisations like Lions is vast, and it is necessary to involve them in activities against climate change," Malla stated.

On the occasion, Lions International also honoured individuals who have made significant contributions in the fields of arts, sports, and education.
