CNI extends condolences to President Agrawal, his bereaved family

KATHMANDU: Rajesh Kumar Agrawal, President of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), is mourning the loss of his father, Shrawan Kumar Agrawal, who passed away at his residence in Sanepa on Monday at the age of 77.

The news of Shrawan Kumar Agrawal's demise has deeply shocked the CNI.

The late Agrawal, Founder Chairman of the RMC Group, was active in various industries for 58 years. Under his leadership, RMC Cement, Palpa Cement Industries, and RMC Foods commenced operations. He established Rajesh Metal Crafts in 1993 and remained active in the industry.

A former chairman of Marwadi Sewa Samiti, the late Agrawal was also a two-time member of the Constituent Assembly. He contributed significantly to constructing Gaushala and other temples and was actively involved in the social sector institutionally and personally.

The late Agrawal is survived by his spouse Dulari, daughter Babita, and two sons, Rajesh and Vishnu.

A final tribute was paid to the late Agrawal's mortal remains at Pashupati Aryaghat at 11:30 am today.

Meanwhile, the CNI has extended its deepest condolences to the bereaved family, including President Agrawal, while paying heartfelt tributes to the late Shrawan Kumar Agrawal.
