KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products, effective from Friday.
NOC Board of Directors meeting held today decided to lower the price of petrol by Rs 5 per litre and reduce the price of diesel and kerosene oil by Rs 3 per litre.
In the first cluster, which includes Charlali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj, the retail price of petrol will be Rs 162 per litre. Likewise, diesel and kerosene are priced at Rs 152 per litre in this cluster.
For the second cluster — comprising Surkhet and Dang — the price of petrol has dropped to Rs 164 per litre, while diesel and kerosene will be available at Rs 154 per litre.
Consumers in the third cluster, which includes Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal depots, will pay Rs 165 per litre for petrol and Rs 155 per litre for diesel and kerosene.
