CIDCA Vice-Chair Yang calls on PM Oli

KATHMANDU: Visiting Vice-Chair of China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), Yang Weigun, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Thursday.

During the meeting held at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu, PM Oli was informed about the discussions and agreements made by the Chinese leader with Deputy Prime Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel earlier on Thursday.

At the programme held at the Ministry of Finance (MoF), four separate letters of cooperation were signed concerning the construction of an 8.2 km road from Kalanki to Bashundhara, Maharajgunj of Kathmandu Ring Road, the upgrading of the Hilsa-Simikot road section to two lanes, the construction of an ICP and ICD at the Korala transit point in Mustang, and a feasibility study for the maintenance and improvement of the Araniko Highway and landslide control works.
