Ashish Agrawal elected President of CNIYEF

KATHMANDU: Ashish Agrawal has been elected President of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries Young Entrepreneurs Forum (CNIYEF). The annual general meeting of CNIYEF formed a new executive committee under Agrawal's chairmanship for 2024/25.

The new executive committee, led by Agrawal, includes Manish Shrestha as Learning Chair, Sugam Ghimire as Member Integration Chair, Nida Doon Malla as Membership Chair, Punit Agrawal as Finance Chair, Ankur Agrawal as Communications and Network Chair, Chirag Sarawagi as Growth and Expansion Chair, and Saini Khetan as Startup Chair.

While congratulating and wishing success to the new executive members, Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) President Rajesh Kumar Agrawal urged CNIYEF to provide policy suggestions to the government and regulatory bodies based on research on youth-related issues. Emphasising the need to encourage young entrepreneurs for overall economic development and increased employment in the country, the CNI President suggested the new team focus on these areas.

CNIYEF Immediate Past President Anurag Goyal expressed his belief that the new executive committee would elevate the organisation to new heights.

Newly elected CNIYEF President Agrawal highlighted the need to encourage startups and young entrepreneurs, stating that he would undertake activities to support youth who aspire to make a difference in the country.

Having joined the business sector in 2013, Agrawal is Director at Tauras Pharma and has been active in CNIYEF since 2019.

CNIYEF, the youth organisation of CNI formed in 2008, has prioritised encouraging and promoting young entrepreneurs.
