KATHMANDU: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari has affirmed the government's commitment to alleviating frustration among the populace by addressing economic recession, trade deficits, and challenges faced by the industry and business sectors.
During the 15th general meeting of Sudurpashchim Samaj held today in Kathmandu, Minister Bhandari asserted that the current government is actively working to dispel despair and foster hope. He emphasised his focus on developing entrepreneurship and the industrial sector. Despite the unique circumstances under which the current government was formed, it is dedicated to overcoming national challenges.
Minister Bhandari also advocated for expanding the traditional Gaura festival of the Far West to an international scale. Previously observed only in the Far West, Gaura is now celebrated across Nepal, India, and even America. He emphasised preserving its original essence.
Additionally, Minister Bhandari unveiled the book 'Sudoorki Sorai Gohra Special,' edited by Dr Haridatta Pandey. The book delves into various aspects of the Gaura festival.
