KATHMANDU: Hansraj Hulaschand & Co, the sole authorised distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal, has launched the largest Pulsar motorcycle to date — the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z. This milestone marks a significant moment in Nepal's motorcycle market. The NS400Z aims to revolutionise the sports motorcycle segment by combining power, technology, and design, promising an exhilarating ride for Nepali enthusiasts.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is equipped with a 373-cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 39.4 bhp and 35 Nm of torque. Paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip and assist clutch, the motorcycle ensures effortless gear shifts and enhanced control. It also incorporates ride-by-wire technology for precise throttle response and improved fuel efficiency.
During the launch event, Abhimanyu Golchha, Director of Golchha Group, expressed his excitement, stating, "We are thrilled to introduce the biggest Pulsar ever —the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z — to the Nepali market. The Pulsar brand has always been synonymous with performance and innovation, and we believe the NS400Z continues this legacy."
In terms of features, the Pulsar NS400Z stands out as the most advanced Pulsar model yet. It offers four selectable riding modes — Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road — along with switchable traction control and dual-channel ABS for superior safety across various terrains. Additionally, the bike boasts a new full-colour LCD screen with Bluetooth connectivity, providing turn-by-turn navigation, music controls, and essential ride data.
Designed with a muscular and aerodynamic profile, the NS400Z features a sculpted fuel tank with sharp extensions, a comfortable split-seat arrangement, and stylish 17-inch alloy wheels. With a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres and a seat height of 807 mm, it caters to both city commuting and long-distance journeys, striking a balance between agility and stability.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is priced at Rs 559,900 in Nepal. Interested customers can secure their bookings at the NADA Auto Show, which runs from August 27 to September 1 at Bhrikutimandap.
