KATHMANDU: Yamaha made an exhilarating impact on the NADA Auto Show 2024 opening day, which commenced on Tuesday at the Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu.

The brand captivated attendees by unveiling its latest adventure bike. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel revealed the Yamaha WR 155R alongside the display of the recently released Yamaha MT-15 Version 2, Aerox, and FZs Deluxe.

Yamaha’s Stall No. MM15 quickly became a must-visit spot for motorcycle enthusiasts and adventurers.

The Yamaha WR 155R, launched on the exhibition's opening day, is a game-changer in the off-road adventure segment. The 155cc liquid-cooled engine delivers an impressive 16.5 BHP and 14.3 Nm of torque, combining power with agility to tackle any terrain. Drawing inspiration from Yamaha’s WRC bikes, the WR 155R features a lightweight frame, adjustable suspension, and a modern digital instrument cluster, making it perfect for both urban riders and off-road adventurers.

Yamaha bikes lead the industry in design, technology, durability, and ride experience. The Yamaha WR155R stands far ahead in the adventure-bike segment compared to other competitors, providing adventurous and adept Nepali biking enthusiasts complete control and safety over mountainous Nepali terrain and any other challenge.

Visitors were impressed by the WR 155R's sleek design and cutting-edge technology, solidifying Yamaha’s reputation as a leader in innovation and performance.

The recently launched Yamaha MT-15 Version 2, also on display, continues to draw attention with its aggressive styling, an array of new features, and thrilling performance, further adding to the excitement at the Yamaha stall.

The Yamaha MT-15 V2 boasts standout features, including Upside-Down (USD) front forks for improved stability, lightweight aluminium swing arms for enhanced agility, and Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) for optimised power delivery across different RPMs. It also comes equipped with a traction control system (TCS) for better control, dual-channel ABS for safer braking, and the Y-Connect feature, allowing riders to stay connected with their bikes through their smartphones.

In addition to the bike showcases, Yamaha has created a buzz with engaging on-ground quizzes, games, and activities that have attracted large crowds. Visitors who made bookings at the show were rewarded with a special discount of Rs 6,000, Silver Coins, and exclusive Yamaha merchandise, making the event more memorable for Yamaha fans.

The NADA Auto Show 2024 will continue until September 1, 2024, giving visitors plenty of time to experience the thrill of Yamaha’s latest offerings.
