NHLS holds national conference in Chitwan

CHITWAN: The national conference of National Heart and Lung Society (NHLS) has concluded in Chitwan. In the one-day session, participating cardiac surgeons and pulmonologists exchanged their expertise and experiences on new technology in the related field, said the conference coordinator and the NHLS General Secretary Dr Shankar Laudari. A total of 168 doctors and specialists in the related field took part in the conference. Similarly, the issues discussed in the session ranged from the situation of heart diseases in the world including Nepal, its causes, exploration of new technology in detecting the disease and its treatment and ways to prevent it, he said. NHLS President Prof Dr Mani Prasad Gautam said that the seminar was fruitful in exploring more effective treatment for heart patients through the exchanges of new technologies.
