Pioneer Moto Corp launches Zeekr luxury EV brand in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Pioneer Moto Corp has launched Zeekr, the latest luxury EV brand from China’s Geely Holding Group. Zeekr aims to revolutionise transportation with cutting-edge technology and a customer-centric approach.

The launch event took place at the Hyatt Regency, Kathmandu, with Devendra Dahal, Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, as the chief guest. Other attendees included Felix Hu, Regional Director of Zeekr South Asia; Astor Zhao, Director of Zeekr Global Aftersales Service; Shiv Ratan Sharda, Chairman of Sharda Group; Sandeep Kumar Sharda, Managing Director of Sharda Group; Pradeep Sharda and Gaurav Sharda, Directors of Sharda Group; and Lokmanya Golchha, Chairman of Golchha Organisation.

The event commenced with the registration of invitees, followed by emcee Sadikshya Shrestha welcoming and honouring the chief guests and other attendees. After the National Anthem, the event was officially inaugurated with a butter lamp lighting ceremony by Minister Dahal, SR Sharda, Regional Director Hu, and Director Zhao.

A token of appreciation was presented to the Chief Guest, Minister Dahal.

The event continued with a brand presentation by the Zeekr team, followed by a product briefing by the Zeekr Nepal team. Guests were then treated to a contemporary dance performance and a product video presentation.

The Zeekr X was unveiled by Transport Minister Dahal, SR Sharda, the Zeekr team, and the Sharda Group Managing Director, followed by a photoshoot session.

After a vote of thanks by Sharda Group Director Gaurav Sharda, the event concluded with guest interactions and a cocktail dinner.

Pioneer Moto Corp recently launched the Standard and Flagship variants of the Zeekr X at the NADA Auto Show 2024.

Zeekr stands proudly alongside renowned brands such as Tesla, Audi, and BMW, offering comparable performance, sophistication, and advanced features. Additionally, the premium SUV shares the same platform as the Volvo EX30, underscoring their commitment to delivering a premium driving experience.
