Gold price hits all-time high at Rs 156,300 per tola

KATHMANDU: Price of gold has reached an all-time high in the domestic market today.

According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of Fine gold has been fixed at Rs 156,300 per tola (11.66 grams). This surpasses the previous high of Rs 153,300 per tola recorded on September 12. On Thursday, Fine gold was traded at 153,300 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver increased by Rs 65 per tola on Friday compared to Thursday, and is currently trading at Rs 1,860 per tola.  Due to the increase in the price of precious metal in the international market, it has also affected the Nepali Market.
