NNRFC submits annual report to President Paudel

KATHMANDU: National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission (NNRFC) has submitted its annual report for the fiscal year 2023/24 to President Ramchandra Paudel.

NNRFC Chairperson Balanand Paudel presented the report during a programme held today at Rashtrapati Bhawan in Sheetal Niwas, Kathmandu today.

President Paudel emphasised the crucial role and responsibility of the NNRFC in implementing fiscal federalism. He expressed confidence that the commission would operate in a more orderly, strong, and effective manner, fulfilling its responsibilities in areas such as revenue sharing, financial equalisation grants, internal debt limits, and meeting the expenditure responsibilities of all three levels of government.

The President also expressed his belief that the NNRFC would recommend measures to enhance revenue collection under fiscal federalism.
