Gold prices skyrocket, setting new record at Rs 160,700 per tola

Kathmandu: The price of gold has once again reached an all-time high in the domestic market today.

According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 160,700 per tola (11.66 grams). This surpasses the previous high of Rs 160,400 per tola recorded on September 25.

Similarly, the price of silver has not changed on Thursday and is currently trading at Rs 1,955 per tola. Due to the increase in the price of precious metals in the international market, this has also affected the Nepali Market.
