During the launch, Minister Bindu Kumar Thapa expressed his best wishes for Changan's success in Pokhara. He emphasised that Changan and other brands must prioritise customer satisfaction and after-sales service, alongside sales.
Similarly, Deepal EV brand ambassador Paras Khadka, who is also the Secretary of the Cricket Association of Nepal, shared that Deepal EVs offer excellent value for money. “The vehicle is packed with so many features that are still not available in other EV brands,” he said, adding, “I am completely satisfied with the performance of Deepal. I urge the people of Pokhara to come and experience the technology and features of Deepal firsthand.”

Additionally, Changan Nepal’s Marketing Head, Ramesh Danekhu, reaffirmed MAW's commitment to customer satisfaction. “Changan is China’s oldest automobile company with a legacy of 162 years, and MAW is proud to represent it in Nepal,” he said. “In just five months since its introduction in Nepal, over 500 units of Deepal have been sold, and all customers are satisfied with its design and technology.”
Deepal EVs boast more than 15 first-time features, including a welcome seat, sunflower touchscreen, augmented reality head-up display, gesture control, headrest and outdoor speakers, among others. These features have contributed to the vehicle's rapid rise in popularity within the Nepali market.
